Kendall Jenner gives it up to the ‘It’ girl of the 2000s.
Kendall Jenner took major style inspo from Paris Hilton circa 2002 when she showed up to party in a Swarovski crystal slip dress this week.
The model and reality television star was dressed for her 21st birthday bash by her long-time stylist Monica Rose in the custom-made dress, which reportedly cost $9,000 (NZ$12,300).
It’s no secret either that Kendall was taking fashion inspiration from Paris for dress choice. She even posted one of the photos from her party with the caption “Vintage Paris Hilton vibes. 21 21.”

Paris rocked the crystal-studded slip back in 2002 when she was at the height of her fame.
Better known at the time for her ultra-girlish take on fashion, the shipping heiress styled her version of the statement-making dress with pink heels, diamante choker, butterfly hair clips and a pink box bag.
Kendall, more in keeping with her own sense of high-end style, streamlined the look, wearing clear heels, a lucite clutch and diamond choker by Noudar. She topped it all off with a fur stole to give her look the right amount of luxe chic.
Kendall’s dress was designed by Antoine Salameh under his label LaBourjoisie and took two weeks to make from inception to finished product.
As the designer explained to WWD the party dress was created with a particular stylistic theme in mind.
“We went off of Kendall’s Twenties reference and we wanted to give her a modern take on it; like Kendall, the dress is timeless and chic. She sent over reference images and I took it from there. It’s young, sexy and fun.”
