Reality television dating show The Bachelor New Zealand is gearing up for its third season and the casting call has gone out for all single ladies looking for “love and adventure”.
If you’re aged between 21 and 35, and have always fancied yourself as potential reality television material, then this is your chance to try out as a bachelorette for the hugely popular dating show, set to air next year.
Finding true love on the show is possible – Art Green and Matilda Rice from season one are proof of that, but as season two showed, the road can sometimes be rocky, and breakups do happen – Jordan Mauger and Fleur Verhoeven called it quits just after the season finale wrapped – talk about bringing the drama!

An open casting call isn’t being held for the Bachelor and his identity won’t be revealed until closer to next year’s series launch.
Season three is sticking to the same set-up as previous series: the show will follow a group of bachelorettes willing to put it on the line to win the attention and affection of the Bachelor. A rose ceremony will whittle down contestants each week, until there is only one bachelorette left standing.
Overseas, they’ve flipped the show’s format at times, and have had a woman choose from a pool of potential bachelors.
At this stage there aren’t any plans to try that here.
