She’s already walked for Chanel and Marc Jacobs, and now 19-year-old Gigi Hadid has nabbed a contract most models only dream of: as the face of Maybelline New York.
The California-native announced the news to her 1.5 million Instagram followers in a candid question and answer video.
She said she felt honoured and humbled to be part of a brand she grew up with.
“Being a Maybelline New York spokesperson means more to me than anyone can imagine; it doesn’t seem real! It’s the most incredible feeling and is a dream come true.”
Hadid’s first campaign is due out in October 2015.
