Auckland’s Georgia Fowler confirmed today she will join the lineup of models who will strut their stuff down the infamous catwalk at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris next month.
She couldn’t contain her excitement, posting to Instagram: “I am confirmed for Victoria Secret Fashion Show! 💕 Thank you for making my dream come true @victoriassecret @johndavidpfeiffer @10magazine & Monica Mitro @imgmodels ⭐️This means the world to me!”
Fowler is a born and bred Kiwi girl, growing up in Auckland’s Eastern Suburbs and attending Diocesan School for Girls. She graced the Autumn 2015 cover of Fashion Quarterly, dated Harry Styles earlier this year, partied with Leonardo Dicaprio in Cannes and walked in the Chanel Resort 2013 show.
And if she wasn’t sounding like an New Zealand icon already, she has also managed the true mark of a Kiwi success story – Australia has tried to claim her, with Harper’s Bazaar calling her an ‘Australian supermodel on the rise’.
