MAC Cosmetics is launching 50 new products in 2017

This news is epic for beauty obsessives…

Not only are MAC bringing out 14 new stunning lipstick shades in July (#MACBlueNectar) but in 2017 they’re also launching an incredible collaboration with three famous makeup artists and thus bringing 50 new products to our shelves!

The #MACMakeupArtCosmetics line will see the cosmetics powerhouse team up with Kabuki, James Kaliardos and Diane Kendal; all legends of the makeup brush in their own right.

Makeup masters @KabukiNYC, @JamesKaliardos and @Diane.Kendal create iconic beauty styles that impact the runway and culture at large. Now, they join forces with M·A·C to channel their unique talents into individual colour collections reflecting their signature styles. Kabuki worked on all the amazing makeup looks on Sex and the City as well as on Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry.

“MAC gave me complete freedom with this collection and I turned my wish list into reality. Whether you’re a make-up artist or if you just like getting dolled up, I think you will love the colours, textures and long-lasting wearability of these products,” he said.

Kendal’s collection focuses on a creamy bronze lid and strobed cheeks with a bold lip. Unsurprising considering she’s collaborated with Calvin Klein in the past and worked for Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli and Alexander Wang on their fashion shows.

“I’m very excited to have been asked to collaborate on this collection with James & Kabuki as we all have our own distinct styles which will compliment and show case the collection to its fullest,” she explained.

James Kaliardos who’s worked for Madonna, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz (and many, many more) said “I want every woman using my products to feel beautiful and confident by being able to perfect her look in an easy-to-use way.”
