Support the wellbeing of animals with Standard Issue x Benee

A collaboration championing a safe haven for vulnerable animals.
Benee.

Singer Stella Bennett, best known under her stage moniker Benee, has teamed up with Aotearoa knitwear brand Standard Issue to produce a limited edition vest supporting Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary

Providing a safe haven for vulnerable animals, Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary is a charitable organisation Stella holds close to her heart. Run by husband-and-wife team Helen and Gavin, the organisation rescues pregnant mothers and young puppies, two vulnerable groups of dogs with devastatingly high abandonment rates. Saving and re-homing over 300 puppies in the past two years, including Stella’s dog Tui, 100% of the Standard Issue x Benee collaboration profits will be donated to Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary.

Like all other Standard Issue pieces, the limited-edition vest has been consciously designed and crafted with zero-waste output in Standard Issue’s Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) workroom. Made from 100% fine merino wool, it features a jacquard knit with a unique retriever illustration by artist Logan Buchanan.

Available in brown and blue colourways and in two inclusive sizes (size 1 fits XS – M, and size 2 fits L to 2XL), the limited-edition vest retails for $199 and can be purchased online through Standard Issue
