Taylor Swift and Zayn Maliks’s new video is totally Fifty Shades
Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have just dropped the new video to the title track of Fifty Shades Darker, and from the looks of it, this might be the singer’s sexiest look yet.
Let’s start with Taylor’s hair – first off this style could be her best. It’s all bed-head tousled, in a good girl gone bad kind of way, which given the premise of the 50 Shades movies is perfect really.
For the most part it’s actually pretty hard to see what T-Swift is wearing because the video is shot in a smouldering gloomy kind of way.
A few close-ups reveal what looks like a black trench coat with a black corset underneath but, like the hair, she’s gone all déshabille, so natch there’s plenty of skin on show.
Despite performing the song with Zayn, there are virtually no scenes of the pair together. The song is about a breakup after all, so we’ll give them a pass.
There’s some speculation though that the reason for the separate scenes may be because Zayn is currently dating Gigi, one of Taylor’s besties and that Taylor once had a fling with Zayn’s former 1-D bandmate, Harry Styles.
While Taylor’s been trying to ditch her nice girl image for some time, there was a moment back in 2011 where she told The Telegraph overt sexiness wasn’t really her thing.
“I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles but I don’t feel comfortable taking my clothes off. I wouldn’t wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life so I don’t think it’s necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots.”
Ok, so she’s changed her mind since then, and for what it’s worth, we’re digging her new look, and think it totally rocks!
