Freaks and Geeks is 17 today, so James Franco’s acting career pretty much is too
On this day in 1999 Freaks and Geeks premiered and it has officially stood the test of time. To commemorate this, one of the show’s stars, John Francis Daley (who you might recognise from Bones) tweeted these adorable pics of himself with his on-screen sister, Linda Cardellini (yep that’s Velma from Scooby Doo).

If you have no idea what we’re talking about, Freaks and Geeks was the 1999 show that popularised James Franco, Seth Rogen, Busy Phillips, Rashida Jones and so many other people who are still super cool. It pretty much has all the drama of Gossip Girl but with a Stranger Things 80s style vibe. Ya feel us?
If you haven’t seen it, prepare to fall in love with a young James Franco. Oh, and you’ll also want to be Linda Cardellini.
