UPDATE: So it sounds like we are a go people! Lauren confirmed on her blog earlier today that she will be partnering with MTV for a special anniversary project to air in early August. YAY.
In her own words:
I spent a lot of time thinking about how I would like to honor this anniversary and in the end, I just wanted to do something as a thank you to the fans. So I will be partnering with MTV on a special project that will air on August 2nd at 10PM. We will be having an honest conversation about what it was really like living with cameras for so many years (spoiler alert: it was super weird), sharing some behind-the-scene secrets, and showing some of my life today. And since this is all for you, please let me know below if there are any questions you have or if there is anything you would like to see addressed.
30 May, 2016: Late last week, following the tenth anniversary of cult 2000’s TV-show The Hills, Lauren Conrad took to Instagram with an exciting yet cryptic announcement for her 5 million followers.
The image, in which she tagged television channel MTV, was captioned “Never thought I’d see the day…” and depicts Conrad adjusting what appears to be a bridesmaids dress from her label Paper Crown, whilst looking down then lens of a camera. GUYS SHE EVEN TAGGED THE CAMERA MAN AS MTV. Which totally means it’s happening, right?
MTV, who later regrammed the image, urged fans to stay in the loop by keeping tabs on Conrad’s Twitter account for a special announcement this Tuesday; teasing the release of a potential new show for The Hills star. OMG.
After ten long years, we are more than ready for The Hills 2.0.
