You won’t believe how much the top fashion bloggers are cashing in

Chiara-Ferragni-FEATURE

This one is for those of you who have always thought the life of a blogger was pretty damn appealing

Traveling the world, showered with gifts daily, invitations to the hottest and most exclusive events, not to mention the wardrobe – doesn’t blogging sound like a dream?!

Well, a report from WWD just made the career, yes career, a whole lot more serious. It turns out some of the biggest names in the industry are making between $1 million and $3 million a year.

So who are these multimillionaires? Well, we found out…

Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad, is a 28 year old fashion blogger. A pretty big one you could say. Chiara has 6.7 million followers on Instagram, 1.2 million Facebook subscribers, and 286,000 Twitter followers. Her wildly successful shoe line, Chiara Ferragni Collection, also earned big bucks last year.

Ferragni told WWD that the businesses annual revenue in 2015, was just shy of $10 million, with $7.5 million of that coming from footwear sales alone. Even if you aren’t great at math, it’s not hard to understand that Chiara is definitely sitting on a fair bit of cash.

Rachel Parcell is another generously rewarded blogger. With 817,000 followers on Instagram and 15.1 thousand on Twitter. Nordstrom’s convenient relationship with Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies recently earned nordstrom.com a humble 1 million. As the saying goes, it’s not what you know but who you know – or just how much cha ching you have!

Okay you two above, move aside… because Kristina Bazaan just raised the gold bar in the blogger world, by scoring herself a whopping seven-figure contract with L’Oréal in October. Kristina has her epic following to thank for the gig, with 2.4 million followers on Instagram and 37.3 thousand followers on Twitter.

Insiders say that Nordstorm and L’Oréal are among the highest paying companies when it comes to securing digital talent for their brand.

Other internet sensations that are on their way to RSVPing to the millionaire club include Aimee Song of Song of Style, Leandra Medine of Man Repeller, and Emily Weiss of Into the Gloss.

So everyone that dismissed blogging as a real career, who’s laughing now?
