Dr. Pimple Popper has answered our skincare prayers!
If you haven’t heard of Dr. Pimple Popper yet, the name explains all you really need to know.
The US-based dermatologist earned her internet fame two years ago after showing a passion for, you guessed it… popping monstrous pimples, blackheads and other ghastly growths.
For some strange reason we can’t get enough of the repulsively addictive videos. The monstrosity of them will scar you for life but it’s too hard to look away. Before you know it, you’ll be hitting ‘follow’ too.

Dr Pimple Popper, also known as Sandra Lee, is back in the spotlight but this time it’s a little nicer to think about. Lee has been busy putting her dermatologist skills to good use by launching her very own skin care product: SLMD x Dr. Pimple Popper Acne Spot Treatment.

Sandra wanted to make a skincare product that was affordable, effective and worked with all sorts of skin types. The salicylic acid based product retails at approximately $35 NZ and is specifically designed to unclog pores and balance oil production.
In a statement Dr. Pimple Popper said:
“Acne regimens often come with complex routines or may not be suitable for all skin types. I wanted to create something that everyone can use and see great results from. No matter what kind of skin you have or if you’re a ’popaholic’ or not, I hope you’ll be able to use this product to control your acne and enjoy clearer, healthier skin.”
Although the miracle treatment may slightly slow down her career in poppin’ pimples, we can’t wait to try it.
